Qatar Airways is the Qatar flag-carrier. Synonymous with luxury and excellent customer service, this growing carrier has won several awards over the years. The many accolades accorded to the company include Skytrax awards for Best Business Class and Best Airline. The airline's main hub is located at Hamad International Airport, where most of its 180 aircraft are based. Flying to more than 150 international destinations, Qatar Airways has a global reputation for luxurious travel.

Qatar Airways links the Middle East to every continent on the planet. The carrier operates several flights every week to Australia, the United States and various destinations throughout Europe. Qatar Airways also operates several flights to and from the United Kingdom - including regular, scheduled services to Africa, Asia, and Oceania. This prestigious carrier is also a member of the Oneworld alliance with many other airlines including British Airways and Iberia.

Qatar Airways only started operating in 1993, but it's already one of the world's largest long-haul carriers. A fleet of more than 250 planes includes many from European-based Airbus. A350s form the core of the fleet, but the airline also has the world's biggest sub-fleet of the giant A380. With several more planes from Airbus and Boeing on order, the future looks very bright for Qatar's flag-carrier.

During 2019, Qatar Airways carried around 29 million passengers. Today, it's the fastest-growing airline in the world. The company's commitment to luxury and customer service is almost unrivalled in the aviation industry. And with an exemplary safety record, it's easy to see why the airline is so popular around the world.

Qatar Airways operates an illustrious frequent flyer program called the Privilege Club. There are four different tiers: Burgundy, Silver, Gold and Platinum. All members receive priority standby and a family accrual rate. However, Platinum members also receive free excess baggage, use of a dedicated lounge with up to two guests and a range of additional benefits and discounts.
