Qatar Airways only started operating in 1993, but it's already one of the world's largest long-haul carriers. A fleet of more than 250 planes includes many from European-based Airbus. A350s form the core of the fleet, but the airline also has the world's biggest sub-fleet of the giant A380. With several more planes from Airbus and Boeing on order, the future looks very bright for Qatar's flag-carrier.
During 2019, Qatar Airways carried around 29 million passengers. Today, it's the fastest-growing airline in the world. The company's commitment to luxury and customer service is almost unrivalled in the aviation industry. And with an exemplary safety record, it's easy to see why the airline is so popular around the world.
