Alaska Airlines is an American airline with headquarters in Seattle-Tacoma, Washington. With more than 300 aircraft in its fleet, the airline flies passengers to over a hundred destinations within the United States, Mexico, Canada, Hawaii, and Costa Rica. Established in 1932 as McGee Airways, the airline boasts of aircraft such as the Boeing 737, Bombardier Q400, and the Embraer 175.

Alaska Airlines operates primarily from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, in addition to Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), and Portland International Airport (PDX).

After hitting 20,000 miles, passengers earn Elite status and receive elevated benefits from Alaska Airlines and its partners.

Alaska Airlines Travel Experience

Alaska Airlines offers three main cabin experiences for its travelers.

Alaska Airlines Main Cabin

Main Cabin travelers can order their meals at least 12 hours before departure. The leather seats are super comfy with USB power outlets very close by. There are also free WiFi services and passengers can text for free while flying.

Premium Class

Premium class travelers of Alaska Airlines get 4 in. of extra legroom, plus complimentary drinks. There are hundreds of hours' worth of premium entertainment from private TV screens as well. Travelers also get priority access to boarding areas.

First Class

First Class seats offer travelers generous recline, as well as 40" pitch. Many aircrafts come with tablet holders, as well as footrests, to make the flight as serene as possible. In addition, travelers get to enjoy fresh meals and get to check in two bags for free. In addition., there are also expedited security checks at the airport and quilted throws to make for a cozy experience.

Lounge

Alaska Airlines has a flagship lounge at the North Satellite Terminal of the Seattle Tacoma International Airport. Other lounges exist in Los Angeles, New York JFK, Portland, or Anchorage. Alaska Airlines Check-in & Baggage

Travelers on Alaska Airlines are allowed one carry-on bag as well as a personal item such as a laptop, purse, or a briefcase. Online check-in allows you to check-in between 24 hours to one hour prior to take-off. If you are paying for checked luggage at the kiosk, you should be at the airport at least four hours before departure.
