Explore the City

If you’d like to explore Frankfurt’s historical attractions, be sure to pay a visit to Römerberg, the old center of Frankfurt. Here, you’ll find Roman remains, the Rententurm, the Saalhof and the Alte Nikolaikirche. Visit Palmengarten or Grüneburgpark to commune with nature. To get a good view of the famous Frankfurt skyline, walk across Eiserner Steg or take the elevator up in the Main Tower. Some great museums you should visit include the German Architecture Museum, German Film Museum, Museum of Regional Historic Art and Culture, Museum of Applied Arts, Museum of Communication, Icon Museum and Jewish Museum. If you get flights to Frankfurt at the right time of year, you can attend a trade show. Frankfurt hosts some of the largest trade shows in the world including the Frankfurt Motor Show, Frankfurt Book Fair, Frankfurt Trade Fair and Musikmesse.
