The most reputable company offering metered taxis is named Blue Bird. Regular local taxis are available as well but require bargaining. Establishing a fixed price before getting in is a must. Another option is to pre-book a private airport transfer online, either through a specialized agency or your hotel.

Car rental is available at the airport and an interesting option for those planning to travel around the island frequently. Since Bali doesn't have an elaborate public transport system, the main transport options are taxis, ride-hailing services, and rental scooters and cars.
