Xiamen Airlines is based in the Fujian city of Xiamen in Southeast China with additional hubs in Fuzhou, Hangzhou, Beijing, Tianjin and Changsha. It serves 54 mainland China destinations and 16 Greater China and international destinations flying a total of 4,000 weekly flights.

Established 1984 it is one of only a handful of airlines worldwide that has been consistently profitable since its founding. It has accumulated over 3 million hours of safe operations and carried more than 20 million passengers. It is the only Chinese airline to be awarded the Jinyan Cup for safety for 3 consecutive years by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CACC)

About our fleet and cabin services

Depending on the route, Xiamen Airlines offers up to 3 classes of service. First Class cabins have 4 seats with an incredibly roomy 84 inch pitch on its B787 Dreamliner aircraft. In Business Class, it has 18 seats with a 74 inch pitch. Both have individual touch-screen monitors with a wide selection of the latest, on-demand, bi-lingual entertainment and a gourmet menu. In Economy Class, the seat pitch is 33 inches. The airline’s all-Boeing fleet which is the largest in China also features B757 and B737 aircraft.

*Baggage allowance differs on certain routes. The 40kgs for First Class/30kgs for Business Class/ 20kgs for Economy Class is the allowed luggage allowance on routes operated by Xiamen Air. Products may differ on certain routes.

Egret Club

As a member of the frequent flyer Egret Club, you can easily earn miles by flying with Xiamen Airlines or with any other Skyteam member. Award miles can be redeemed for upgrades, hotel accommodation and other travel products and services. Gold and Silver Egret member enjoy the Elite level benefits when traveling on other Skyteam member airlines.

As a Skyteam member since 2012, passengers can redeem miles throughout the Skyteam network and have access to over 515 lounges worldwide. It also offers the convenience of seamless connections with other Skyteam member airlines.
