Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) is the flag-carrying airline of Ukraine with headquarters and a main hub at Kiev's Boryspil International Airport. Originally owned by Guinness Peat Aviation and the Ukrainian Association of Civil Aviation, UIA was founded in 1992. Since 2013, it has been owned by Capital Investment Project LLC and Ontobet Promotions Limited.
UIA's fleet currently contains 42 aircraft, mainly Boeing 737-800s. Its low-cost model links Ukraine to 3,000 destinations in 38 countries around the world. It also has code-share arrangements with several airlines including KLM, Iberia, Air France, and Austrian Airlines. Apart from a terrorist-related incident in 2020, the airline has suffered no crew or passenger fatalities since its launch.
Although not part of an alliance, Ukraine International Airlines does operate a frequent-flyer programme, the Panorama Club. This has Classic, Premium and Elite membership levels allowing passengers to collect UIA Miles. These can be used towards flights or exchanged for other services.
On both long and short-haul flights, there is a choice of Economy, Economy Premium or Business Class tickets.
Business Class: All business class tickets include welcome packs and complimentary meals and drinks. Other onboard services depend on the type of aircraft being used and may include lie-down beds, bedding packs, toiletries, personal screens, Wi-Fi and power outlets.
Economy Premium Class: Upgrade to Economy Premium for a little extra legroom on both short and long-haul flights. On short-haul flights, one complimentary meal is offered. On long-haul flights, travellers will enjoy two meals and the overnight comfort of blankets, pillows and a toiletries pack.
Economy Class: This is a basic good value for money option. On short and medium-haul flights, food and drink can be purchased from the onboard bistro menu. On long-haul flights, one complimentary meal and soft drinks are included in your ticket price.

For example, at Toronto Pearson Airport, holders of Business-Class tickets and qualifying members of the airline's Panorama Club can use the Air France KLM Lounge (Plaza Premium Lounge) at Terminal 3. Facilities here include comfortable seating, complimentary snacks and drinks, flight monitors, Wi-Fi and internet stations.
