First Class: The ONLY First Class service between the U.S and Israel

Available only on the 777 and 747-400. With ergonometric seats that open into a full length bed (180 degrees) with shell-like partition for seclusion. Travelers can enjoy the wonderful culinary dining experience from an exclusive menu prepared by one of Israel’s top chef, Chef Moshe Segev. Also as an example of our commitment, EL AL offers our paying First Class passengers in New York City, Philadelphia & Los Angeles complimentary limousine transfer service between their home/hotel to the airport.

Business Class

Enjoy and experience traveling on EL AL’s specially designed business seat to provide passengers with the maximum comfort. Travelers are invited to dine from a variety of meal and beverage choices. Also to make your flight time as pleasant as possible, we proudly offer a wide selection of entertainment programs and other content.

Premium Economy Class

Available on the B787-Dreamliner (to/from Newark)- the new way to fly! The new Premium Economy class offers a wider seat pitch of 38 inches, with a seat recline up to 7 inches, adjustable headrest (offering 6 different modes), and equipped with a 13 inches* high quality HD screen and a wide varierty of content. *the first row only: screen size is 12 inches.

Dreamliner 787 from San Francisco to Tel Aviv

The flight of your dreams to Israel- Starting May 13th, three flights per week, El Al's new 787 Dreamliner aircraft will take travelers nonstop from San Francisco to Tel Aviv. Combine warm Israeli hospitality with great efficiency and state-of-the-art technology, the Dreamliner will make traveling to Israel just as wonderful as being there.

*Reminder for passengers departing from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

Due to the continuing heavy traffic congestion around LAX, EL AL passengers are asked to arrive at LAX for check-in at least 3 hours before schedule departure time. EL AL is operating under strict conditions from LAX to vacate the gate at scheduled departure time to allow the next waiting carrier to utilize the same gate.
In addition, EL AL operates under a higher security standards that adds extra time to the check-in procedures. EL AL is committed to comply with our schedule departure time.

EL AL’s LAX counters at Bradley International Terminal opens at 09:45am and closes promptly at 12:15pm. This means that all passengers, including our “web-check-in” passengers, needs to have cleared EL AL security and be at the counter before 12:15pm.
