Carry-On Baggage Inspection Intensify as of July 19

*Effective as of July 19, 2017- According to security regulations issued by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the TSA has mandated more thorough and frequent inspections of carry-on baggage at waiting rooms and boarding gates.

This provision includes exhaustive inspection of electronic equipment at waiting rooms and boarding gates.

Avianca advises passengers to show up with due anticipation at the airport in order to facilitate the process. Please be noted that passengers who refuse to have his or her electronic equipment to be inspected may not be allowed to take them onboard their flight.
